Our Client, a leading automotive retailer with a strong presence across the UK, is currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Belfast branch. Duties:
- Conduct vehicle repairs and routine servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Perform diagnostic checks to identify faults and assess vehicle condition
- Inspect vehicles for wear, damage, and general faults
- Carry out work adhering to DVSA standards and industry regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by accurately explaining work completed and recommended
- Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work undertaken
- Work efficiently with the latest diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repair tasks in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence is essential, as movement of vehicles within the workshop is required
- Proven experience in a vehicle workshop environment is preferred, but applications from qualified technicians at all levels are welcomed
- Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repairs
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
