Our client is actively recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle safety inspections and diagnostics
- Use manufacturer-specific diagnostic equipment to identify faults
- Perform servicing, repairs, and vehicle maintenance to meet manufacturer standards
- Complete vehicle health checks adhering to dealership protocols
- Carry out MOT testing if qualified, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Uphold health and safety procedures within the workshop environment
- Ensure all work is documented correctly and communicates findings effectively to customers
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience in vehicle servicing, inspections, and repair work
- MOT licence desirable but not essential
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills essential for the Vehicle Technician role
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
