Summary
Tired of irregular or ad hoc work? We have positions available from Monday to Friday on a regular basis!
We are looking for HGV 1 drivers willing to make up to 3 collections or drops a day driving a curtain sided vehicle. The goods are palletised, so all that would be required from you is to pull back the curtains so the pallets can be unloaded.
We need HGV1 drivers who can work professionally by ensuring all paperwork is filled out correctly, be responsible for driving safely whilst making sure goods are delivered on time and finally have excellent customer service.
Our essential requirements for this role are:
- A UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
- A digital tacho card
- A valid CPC card
- Previous experience
This is a temporary role with ongoing work available.
This role offers early starts Monday to Friday, the most usual being 5am – 9am. You should expect around 50 hours per week.
Pay is from £17 p/h PAYE to £20.57 p/h if paid through our umbrella provider.
Holiday accrues up to 28 days pro rata.
Visa sponsorships are not offered.
