We are a small, friendly infant school set in the heart of a wonderful community of parents and extended families.
We have a total of three classes – Reception, Year One and Year Two - with a maximum of thirty children in each class.
We are proud to be a Church of England school with a good reputation based on years of hard work.
Families and school staff have invested significant energy and time to establish and develop strong, trusting relationships that support teaching and learning, which is evident in all we do each and every day
The ideal candidate will:
• Inspire all members of the school community to flourish in their roles ensuring that Corfield continues to be fully inclusive for all
• Be approachable, reflective, forward thinking, have high expectations and the ability to ensure positive outcomes for our children
• Have the ability to develop strong relationships with parents, Governors, external agencies and build on our history of collaborative working
• Have a record of successfully implementing initiatives to raise standards
• Have experience of analysing and using school performance data to inform targeted interventions
• Have the ability to understand the importance of school self-evaluation and the current Ofsted inspection process
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have had recent successful experience in a leadership role within the Early Years and KS1 curriculum areas
• Be an inspirational leader, manager and team player, able to develop and articulate a clear vision for the future of the school
