Summary

Examinations Invigilator

£13.60 per hour on a casual basis

We are currently recruiting Invigilators for examinations which take place annually in May, June, November, February and March. You will work with school staff, candidates and other invigilators before, during and after examinations to ensure the smooth running of examinations in accordance with publicised guidelines. You may be asked to work with candidates as part of a team or as a lone invigilator. Full training will be given. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills; a confident and assertive manner, flexible approach to working hours and a minimum availability of three days per week during examination windows, excluding school holidays.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working under pressure and responding quickly to changing demands
  • The ability to convey instructions to students in a confident manner
  • Can actively promote and comply with safeguarding and child protection legislation in all areas of responsibility
  • Has a positive, open, and friendly attitude to service improvement and delivery
  • Can work within the ethos of the school
