Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?We're seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive, welcoming schools across the Northampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom while developing your skills within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
* Support pupils' communication, sensory, and emotional development.
* Assist with classroom organisation and contribute to inclusive learning activities.
What We're Looking For
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN, autism, or learning difficulties is highly desirable.
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage but not essential.
