We’re now looking for an experienced Repairs Team Leader to join our team on a Full Time 12 month Fixed Term basis. This role offers full-time hours (36.25 hours per week) About the role As a Repairs Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in driving the performance and productivity of our repair’s operatives, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in full compliance with safety regulations, including the requirements of Awaab’s Law. Working closely with the Senior Repairs and Maintenance Manager, you’ll coordinate daily workloads, monitor quality, and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of HHSRS hazards to support safe, well-maintained homes. You’ll take a proactive approach to quality assurance, using robust checks to ensure every repair meets specification, safety expectations, and delivers a positive experience for our customers. Regular site assessments will be an essential part of your role, helping you identify potential risks early and shape effective plans for delivering the required works. We are looking for someone to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to resolve any technical or logistical challenges that arise on site.You’ll also work alongside the scheduling team to allocate resources efficiently, supporting a responsive and well-organised service. As a leader, you’ll nurture a positive and supportive team culture, championing safety, quality, accountability, and collaboration across the service to help us deliver great outcomes for our customers and communities. What We Are Looking For We’re looking for someone who brings strong leadership and communication skills, with the confidence to guide a team and support a high-quality, customer-focused service. You’ll have a solid understanding of Decent Homes standards and the end-to-end repairs process, enabling you to make informed decisions that keep our homes safe and compliant. Attention to detail is essential in this role, along with the ability to read, interpret, and apply technical information. We’re also looking for someone who works well with others, is adaptable to change, and can respond positively to a fast-paced, solutions-focused environment.
