About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position for a dedicated Physical Education professional. The successful candidate will be joining a high-energy department that views PE not just as a subject, but as a vital tool for building resilience, teamwork, and health. The role involves working with a diverse student body across Key Stages 3 and 4, managing both practical field sessions and theoretical classroom lessons.

Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for PE.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive PE lessons across a variety of sports.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Organise and lead extracurricular clubs and inter-school fixtures.
- Manage and maintain sports equipment to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Prepare students for BTEC or GCSE PE examinations.
- Collaborate with the department to develop an innovative curriculum.
- Attend parent's evenings and departmental meetings.
- Foster a positive, disciplined atmosphere in the locker rooms and on the field.
- Implement school-wide behaviour policies consistently.
- Stay updated on the latest pedagogical trends in sports education.
