With the continued growth and outstanding reputation of our 16–19 full-time and apprenticeship provision, the Faculty of Engineering, Aerospace & Automotive is excited to recruit a dedicated and empathetic Mentor for engagement. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young learners in one of the UK’s leading colleges.

organised and able to manage and monitor effective interventions
committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

What you’ll be doing…
mentoring and coaching 16–19 learners and apprentices in Engineering, Aerospace & Automotive to help them engage fully with college life
supporting students through emotional, social and behavioural challenges
delivering one-to-one and small group interventions
working closely with teaching staff and support teams to ensure students succeed
liaising with families and external agencies where necessary
tracking progress and celebrating student development
