Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing Birmingham team. This full-time role is focused on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities, while building and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will play a vital role in driving company growth by generating leads, managing accounts, and delivering high-quality customer engagement. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.

Generate leads through market research, networking, outbound calls, emails, and meetings.

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Manage client accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and tailored proposals.

Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.

Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts using CRM systems.

Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.

Produce regular performance reports and contribute to business strategy planning.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.

Strong expertise in lead generation and new business development.

Solid understanding of business strategy, sales techniques, and market analysis.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets in a performance-driven environment.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
