Summary

Production Operative - Manufacturing

Shifts: Rotating 6-2 and 2-10

Location: [Irlam]

Salary: [£12.21 per hour]

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on, reliable Production Operatives to join our busy signage team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment. You'll work across multiple departments, gaining experience in all stages of the signage manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be involved in a variety of production tasks, including:

Print Department

• Operating large-format printers
• Preparing artwork and materials for print
• Ensuring colour accuracy and print quality

Fabrication

• Assisting with the construction of signage components
• Using hand tools and workshop machinery
• Following technical drawings and build specifications

Mounting & Laminating

• Mounting printed graphics onto various substrates
• Laminating prints to required finishes
• Maintaining a clean, dust-free working area

Sewing

• Operating industrial sewing machines for banner finishing
• Hemming, stitching, and reinforcing materials

Dispatch

• Packing finished products safely and accurately
• Labelling, organising, and preparing orders for delivery
• Working with the dispatch team to meet deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in signage, print, or manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills across multiple departments
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with rotating shifts

Shift Pattern

06:00-14:00
14:00-22:00

Rotating weekly.
