We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to provide expert commercial and contractual leadership across Healthcare contracts, including PFI and NHS Framework Agreements.
This role will ensure operational teams deliver compliant solutions, mitigate commercial and financial risks, and maximise contractual value.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced commercial professional who can drive standardisation, process improvement, and performance consistency across the business.
This person will also act as a trusted partner to operational leadership and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and apply commercial and contractual requirements across Healthcare contracts, including PFI agreements.
Review payment mechanisms, service level specifications, and carry out KPI sensitivity analysis to assess commercial exposure and consequences.
Review contract terms and conditions and advise operational teams on compliance requirements and identified discrepancies.
Support contracts in developing, presenting, and articulating the business position for commercial issues and disputes.
Monitor contract performance, including delivery milestones, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
Support the preparation and submission of contractual notices, change requests, and claims.
Provide oversight of Deeds of Variation relating to benchmarking and market testing to ensure alignment with base contract provisions.
Produce reports, summaries, and analysis of contract and financial data as required.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Expertise in PFI, NHS, and Healthcare contract environments.
Strong commercial acumen with proven financial insight.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in compliance, risk management, and process improvement.
Influential leadership capabilities across multi-disciplinary teams.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and high integrity.
Full UK driving licence (regional travel required).
