About the Role:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment where children can learn, develop, and feel valued every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support learning and development
Be a key person for a group of children
Supervise and interact with children during playtime, mealtimes, and naptime
Monitor each child’s well-being and support their individual needs
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive team culture
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene within the nursery
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of a Level 3 in childcare
At least 1 year of experience in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred)
Good understanding of child development and early years practices
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A team player with a patient, compassionate nature
A genuine passion for working with children
