Summary

Administrative Assistant – SEND & School Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) Support
Temporary - one year

Term time only, 35 hours per week

(1 day per week for each school (4days)

1 day per week for SCIT (1 day)

Scale 3, pt 5-6

Start : As soon as possible

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated support to our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) departments and our Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys varied administrative work, thrives in a busy environment, and is passionate about supporting teams that make a direct difference to children, young people, and future educators.

You would be based centrally at the Bordesley MAT offices and will need to visit individual schools when necessary.



About You
- We are looking for someone who:

- Has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

- Is confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Communicates clearly and professionally with staff, trainees, parents and external agencies.

- Is proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.

- Works well independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Demonstrates commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

- Some SEND knowledge would be an advantage (but training could be given)
