Summary

We are recruiting a highly capable Head of Business Development, ideally based in Spain or Italy—although outstanding candidates in other European markets will also be considered.

This is a pivotal, market‑facing role that will directly drive AmTrust’s Warranty portfolio growth across Europe, with a particular focus on Spain, Italy, the Benelux region, the Netherlands, the Nordics, or Germany. You will play an essential role in identifying opportunities, building relationships, and securing high‑value commercial partnerships.

What You Will Do
As an experienced and hands‑on commercial leader, you will:

Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity identification and lead generation through to successful deal execution.
Anticipate emerging commercial opportunities to ensure AmTrust is well positioned for meaningful tender processes.
Build and maintain a strong personal sales pipeline, operating effectively in a standalone capacity.
Engage regularly with partners and clients across Europe, with significant travel required.
Represent AmTrust’s warranty proposition confidently and strategically within one or more of our targeted markets.
What You Bring
To be successful, you will bring:

Significant experience in a senior commercial role within a Warranty‑focused environment (essential).
Strong knowledge of at least one of our key European markets and the ability to operate confidently within its commercial and cultural landscape.
Proven capability in both generating leads and driving deals through to completion.
Fluency in English, plus strong proficiency in at least one relevant regional language (e.g., French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German, or a Nordic language).
The ability to thrive in a standalone role while contributing to wider organisational goals.
Why Join Us?
This is a high‑impact role with the opportunity to shape and accelerate the European growth strategy of a trusted international insurance group. You will join a business that values innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking.
