Your new school
We are pleased to offer an opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school dedicated to empowering our pupils with additional needs. We are currently recruiting for Primary SEN Teaching Assistants to work within our warm and collaborative KS1 and KS2 teams. Your contribution will be central to helping pupils achieve strong academic, social and emotional outcomes.
Your new role
In this role, you will have a positive impact on the lives of primary-aged children with a variety of care and learning needs, including SEMH, ADHD, autism, and other SEND profiles. Every day will be engaging and varied, giving you the chance to develop strong, meaningful relationships with pupils and help them access learning and build confidence.
You will support class teachers, deliver targeted interventions, model consistent positive behaviour and provide a high standard of care, professionalism and safeguarding for all children
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for dedicated individuals who thrive in a rewarding and purposeful school environment. You will be passionate about helping pupils develop their academic skills, resilience and independence while promoting emotional wellbeing. Experience working with children with autism or additional needs is welcome but not essential - a strong commitment to learning and supporting others is key.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
- GCSE/O‑Level or equivalent
- Experience supporting children with SEMH or other SEND needs (desirable)
- A valid driving licence due to the school's location
