Crynodeb

Following an expansion of our nationally recognised service, we are seeking a motivated Paediatric Audiologist to join our team at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. This role balances high-level clinical practice with opportunities for service development, ideal for an audiologist committed to evidence-based (re)habilitation and clinical excellence. You will join a forward-thinking department that prioritises professional growth and the continuous improvement of paediatric pathways.

As Paediatric Audiologist you will be responsible for both leading and assisting on behavioural hearing assessment clinics for children aged 6 months and above. You will also be responsible for new paediatric hearing aid fittings and routine hearing aid reviews.

Alongside our main site at St Thomas' we run regular clinics at our satellite sites in Gracefield Gardens (Lambeth), Sunshine House (Southwark) and Kaleidoscope (Lewisham). With the planned expansion of the service an additional satellite site location is being sought within Bromley, Bexley or Greenwich.

We champion modern working patterns and the majority of the clinical team work compressed hours (08:00-18:00) across 4 days to support work-life balance. Typically, the post holder would be based at St Thomas' 2-3 days a week and at a satellite clinic 1-2 days a week.

Guy’s and St Thomas’ Paediatric Audiology Service is the largest of its kind in the UK, operating as a non-medical consultant-led centre of excellence. We are proud to be a UKAS Accredited Medical Diagnostic Service (No. 9980), a testament to our commitment to the highest clinical standards and quality assurance. Joining us means working at the forefront of the profession within a supportive, innovation-driven culture that provides a robust platform for the next stage of your clinical or managerial career.

Please refer to the uploaded Job Description and Person Specification for further details on the role.
