A warm, inclusive primary setting in West Drayton are seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join their specialist provision supporting pupils with early diagnoses of ASD and a range of complex needs. About the Setting

You'll be joining a well‑established, child‑centred provision with a strong reputation for high‑quality SEND practice. Class sizes are small, support staff are experienced, and the curriculum is adapted to meet pupils exactly where they are. The school places a huge emphasis on communication, sensory‑friendly approaches, and building trusting relationships with families.

The Role

You will lead a small, well‑resourced class within the school's specialist provision, delivering tailored learning to pupils with ASD and complex needs. Your responsibilities will include:

· Planning and delivering differentiated lessons aligned with pupils' EHCP targets

· Creating a calm, structured, sensory‑aware learning environment

· Working closely with experienced support staff to deliver consistent routines

· Using visual supports, communication systems, and personalised strategies

· Building strong relationships with families and external professionals

· Tracking progress and contributing to reviews and assessments

· Promoting independence, emotional regulation, and communication skills

This role suits a teacher who is patient, creative, and confident adapting learning for pupils working significantly below age‑related expectations.

What You'll Need
- QTS (essential)
- Strong UK teaching experience
- SEN teaching experience or Early Years background (highly desirable)
- Confidence supporting pupils with ASD and complex needs
- A reflective, nurturing approach to behaviour and learning
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (only shortlisted candidates will be contacted)
