A highly regarded educational setting in Exeter is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Classroom Support Assistant to join their dedicated SEN team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusion and supporting pupils with a wide range of special educational needs.

In this role, you'll work closely with teachers and SEN staff to help create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every student is supported to reach their potential.

As an SEN Classroom Support Assistant, your role will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver personalised learning support
- Adapting learning materials and resources to meet individual needs
- Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
- Communicating effectively with teaching staff and parents
- Creating engaging activities that encourage participation and confidence

You'll play a key role in helping pupils feel understood, supported, and motivated to learn.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children with special educational needs (desirable but not essential)
- Be patient, empathetic, and calm in their approach
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be creative, adaptable, and solution-focused
- Be committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing

A relevant qualification in education or a related field is desirable, but attitude and commitment are just as important.
- Competitive daily rate of £90 per day
