Summary
Sports Coach
Location: Manchester (M13)
Pay: £475-£550 per week, depending on experience
Start Date: 23/02/2026
Prospero Teaching are currently working with a primary pupil referral unit to recruit for experienced sports coaches. As a sports coach, you will be encouraging pupils to engage in their learning.
As a Sports Coach, you will:
- Support pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis, encouraging re-engagement in learning through sports
- Work closely with other staff members to monitor progress
- Assist in creating engaging and fun activities
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Team Teach training is highly desired but training can be provided
- Previous Sports Coaching experience
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
