Summary
Behaviour Intervention Practitioner
Location: Manchester (M13)
Pay: £475-£550 per week, depending on experience
Start Date: 23/02/2026
Are you a calm and resilient individual, with previous experience supporting SEMH? We are currently working with a large SEMH provision to recruit for experienced behaviour intervention practitioners, to start after February half term.
As a behaviour intervention practitioner, you will:
- Build strong rapport with pupils, encouraging engagement in learning
- Be involved in the creation and implementation of Education, Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour support and interventions tailored to the individual
Behaviour Practitioner - What we are looking for:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Team Teach training is highly desired but training can be provided
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs (either in a care, school or youth work setting)
- A strong understanding of SEMH and SEN strategies
SEMH Mentor - To Be Eligible You Must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Have an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
- Be able to provide two professional references (child-related preferred)
