What does this Care Assistant job involve?

Hours of Work:40 Hours Per Week - Shifts: 08:00 - 20:00 / 20:00 - 08:00

Day-to-day duties include:

• Providing person-centred care and support to individuals with their daily activities, promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
• Assisting with personal care, medication support, meal preparation, emotional support, and community activities.
• Carers also follow care plans, maintain accurate records, report concerns, and work closely with the team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the people they support.

Am I the right person for this Care Assistant job?

• Compassionate, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• Experience in care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Candidates must have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Willing to learn, follow care plans, and work flexible hours is essential.
• Enhanced DBS checks will be required.
