About this opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and curious Digital Assistant Manager to join our Group Corporate Affairs digital team. This role is designed to support our Digital Managers in delivering high-quality, accessible and optimised content across our corporate website and digital channels.

The role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in content management, SEO/GEO, accessibility and the practical use of AI tools, while working within one of the UK's most trusted financial institutions. You will play an important role in supporting business-as-usual (BAU) activity, helping to ensure content is kept up to date, well-governed and performing effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Support:
Write, edit and maintain clear, engaging and accurate content for the corporate website and digital channels, supporting BAU updates and campaigns.

  • Content Management Systems:
Manage and update content using the CMS, including publishing, housekeeping, asset maintenance and supporting content audits.

  • SEO/GEO Execution:
Apply best practices to improve content visibility and performance across search engines and LLMs, including keyword optimisation, metadata, internal linking and basic performance monitoring.

  • Accessibility & Standards:
Ensure content meets accessibility and usability standards, supporting ongoing accessibility improvements and compliance using tools such as Crownpeak.

  • AI & Digital Tools:
Actively use AI tools (e.g. Copilot) to support content creation, research, optimisation and efficiency in day-to-day tasks.

  • Operational Support:
Support Digital Managers with BAU activity, inbox management, content requests, triage and coordination of updates across teams.

  • Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues across digital, brand, communications and social media teams to support campaigns, updates and wider corporate priorities.

  • Continuous Improvement:
Stay up to date with digital best practice, particularly in SEO, content management and AI, and apply learning to improve ways of working.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in digital content creation, copywriting or content management (agency or in-house).

  • Experience using content management systems (CMS).

  • A working knowledge of SEO and GEO principles and tools (e.g. Google Search Console, SEMrush or similar).

  • An interest in AI and digital innovation, with some hands-on experience using AI tools to support content or workflows.

  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.

  • Enthusiasm to learn, develop and grow within a digital team.
