Summary
Temporary Health and Social Care Lecturer
Location: Further Education setting
Contract: Temporary
Hours: 14.5 hours per week
Working Days: Thursday and Friday (full days)
We are seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer on a temporary basis to deliver the NCFE Level 3 Technical Extended Diploma (T Level) in Health and Social Care.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality teaching to 16-18-year-old learners within a Further Education environment. You will deliver a range of Level 3 units, supporting learners to achieve both academic success and practical understanding of the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver teaching on the NCFE Level 3 Health and Social Care programme
- Teach specific units including:
- Health Education
- Role of Play
- Mental Health
- Positive Behaviour
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering Level 3 NCFE Health and Social Care courses
- Experience teaching 16-18 learners within a Further Education setting
- Strong subject knowledge across the specified units
- Ability to engage, motivate, and manage learners effectively
Qualifications
- A formal teaching qualification is not essential
- Candidates must be experienced and confident in teaching at Level 3 within FE
