Summary
Clinical care, including: interventions, medications, assessment, wound care and management, cervical screening, ear care, vaccines, pre-travel health, prescribed therapies Health promotion, including: alcohol screening, smoking cessation, healthy diet, physical activity, weight management, sexual health and family planning Sexual health, including: health promotion, investigation and contraception Long term conditions, including: screening, diagnosis, ongoing management, and referral to other agencies in line with NICE guidance and Quality and Outcome Framework indicators Develop and follow referral pathways Risk stratification and care planning Quality assurance and service support Recognise opportunities to reduce inequalities and unwarranted variation Handle sensitive and confidential information Ensuring the privacy, dignity and safety of individuals is maintained at all times Use of clinical IT systems, and maintaining accurate patient records Recognise and report issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults
