Summary
Title: Primary Care Network Business Manager Employed by: Derby City South Healthcare Limited Location: On site at practices within Derby City South PCN, with ability to travel adhoc to meetings/ conferences at other locations Hours: 37.5 hours per week, to be worked between the hours of 0800 2000 Monday to Friday dependant on business need Salary: Dependant on experience Reporting to: PCN Board/PCN Clinical Director Contract Term: Permanent Job Summary To manage and coordinate all aspects of PCN functionality, lead PCN activities and services operationally and strategically, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and financial performance, ensuring the PCN achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment. Through innovative ways of working, lead the team with promoting Vision, Quality and Continuous Improvement, Confidentiality, Collaborative Working, Service Delivery, Learning and Development, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and ensure the PCN complies with CQC regulations. Key working relationships GP Practices within the PCN Practice Leaders (Partners and Practice Managers) ICB and Derby City Place Partnership Other PCN leaders within Derbyshire Other Community Providers PCN Staff and Contractors Clinical Directors Responsibilities To assist the PCN Director(s) and board in setting and realising the PCN vision, mission and business strategy To play a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality primary health care services Operationally lead and manage the delivery of our 'Team Up' service Line management of PCN staff CQC Registered Manager To be involved in the management and strategic development of the PCN. Support the PCN Director(s) and board to ensure the smooth running of the PCN. Manage contractual requirements on behalf of the PCN Co-ordinate the delivery of enhanced services and other service submissions on behalf of the PCN To cultivate the benefits of working at scale To develop and maintain positive relationships with and across the PCN To be responsible for the production of performance and quality reports within the PCN and other PCN initiatives. Secure funding opportunities for the development of patient services and realisation of the PCN business strategy To be responsible for the oversight of the PCNs financial systems/ budgeting /PCN employed staff/payments to all the practices within the Network. Ensure the PCNs compliance with the GDPR and FOI along with other relevant legislation and professional information management standards such as GMC/BMA and LMC guidance To represent the PCN in cross organisation meetings when agreed e.g. locality/CCG meetings First point of contact for Practice Managers with regard to delivery of PCN projects/schemes. Co-ordinate training and development of PCN clinical/administrative staff Support recruitment, induction and training of new PCN staff Collate feedback / analyse data on behalf of the PCN to report to the PCN Board and ICB as required Take the lead in strategically developing and shifting towards 'neighborhood's as described in the NHS ten year plan Equal Opportunities Derby City South Healthcare is committed to eliminating unlawful discrimination and promoting equality of opportunity. It is the duty of every employee to: Only access person identifiable information as required in the execution of their duties. Disclose information appropriately, in line with the Data Protection Act 1998. To ensure good quality data by recording, promptly and accurately, clinical and non-clinical information within agreed timescales to PAS, the health record or the appropriate clinical or non-clinical information system Maintain the confidentiality of their password / username and if in possession of a Smartcard abiding by the terms and conditions of its usei Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
