About the role

At Plymouth Community Homes, we’re transforming the way our colleagues and commercial tenants experience our workspace. We’re passionate about safe, sustainable, modern spaces that inspire productivity, team working and support the diverse needs of our customers. And we’re looking for an Operations Manager – Workspace who can help us deliver exactly that.

This is your chance to develop and lead a high‑performing team, develop innovative workspace solutions, and play a major role in reshaping our flagship Plumer House and Beacon Community Hub into a flexible, efficient and future‑ready workspace, that meets our colleagues, commercial tenants, residents and wider community needs.

As the operational lead for our corporate estate, you’ll:

Deliver excellent facilities and workspace services.
Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated workspace team.
Use data insight to drive performance, service improvement and strategic decision‑making.
Shape workspace strategies, deliver projects and lead major transformations.
Lead commercial tenants, leases, service charges and relationship management at Plumer and Beacon.
Champion sustainability, energy efficiency and environmental performance.
Ensure our buildings are safe, compliant and fit for purpose—every day.

No two days will look the same—and that’s part of the appeal!

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who brings:

Significant experience in facilities, property, or workspace management—delivering services that are safe, compliant and customer‑focused.
Leadership confidence: you enjoy building strong, capable, motivated teams.
Technical understanding of building services, compliance and FM best practice.
A knack for solving complex problems and driving continuous improvement.
Commercial acumen—comfortable with budgets, contracts, procurement and value‑for‑money decisions.
A collaborative, inclusive and people‑centred approach.

And above all, you care deeply about delivering an exceptional workspace experience.
