• Deliver engaging and practical lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Support pupils in developing technical skills and creativity
• Prepare resources and manage workshop safety
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies

Ideal Design Technology Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools
• Strong subject knowledge across resistant materials, graphics, or textiles
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Design Technology Teacher
• Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
• Committed to pupil progress and well-being
