Summary

£41,833 - £50,359 per annum (placement on the scale is dependant on Qualifications and Experience)
Glenrothes Campus (travel may be required within Fife)
25.89 hours per week (17 hours Class Contact)
Temporary until 30 June 2026

About the Role

Join our dynamic Supported Programmes Team and support candidates in achieving their learning goals by providing an engaging and effective learning experience. Contribute to the overall success of our curricular area by assisting team members and the Curriculum Manager with the evaluation of learning and teaching. Help achieve the operational and strategic objectives outlined in the College Regional Outcome Agreement

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Learning and Teaching activities to a broad range of learners and in a variety of educational settings.
• Primarily teach candidates in subject areas of Supported Programmes
• Evaluate and improve teaching methods and curriculum effectiveness.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance team performance and curriculum quality
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department
• Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and achievement

Qualifications and Experience
• Essential:
o Qualified to HND/Degree (SCQF 8/9) or SVQ Level 4/5 in the relevant vocational area or Highest level qualification in the relevant discipline
o Relevant current academic experience
o Demonstrable experience and practiced skills following a vocational qualification
o Driving License as Travel will be required within Fife

• Desirable:
o Teaching Qualification in Further Education (TQFE)
o Broad demonstrable experience of curriculum delivery
o Proven record of evaluative ability, to recognise areas for improvement and plan for excellence
o Experience of delivering practical cooking and food preparation
