Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified glazier/window repairs operative to join us.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, and maintenance of windows & doors in various residential and commercial properties.
This role requires a strong understanding of building structures and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools.
Responsibilities
Repair windows and doors in accordance with specifications.
Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit. THIS INCLUDES CUTTING GLASS ON SITE
Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
Perform necessary adjustments to ensure windows and doors operate smoothly.
Conduct inspections of existing windows to identify issues such as broken hinges/mechanisms or failed units.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment on every job.
Follow all health and safety regulations while on site.
Qualifications
Proven qualifications & experienced Glazier/window and door repairs
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to glazing and repairs.
Knowledge of building regulations and safety standards related to window and door repairs.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good physical fitness as the role may involve lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE ESSENTIAL.
