Working hours are 5:15am to 5:30pm on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern

Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a Production Technician Engineer to support our packhouse and processing unit by delivering graded product of the right quality, every time. You’ll be hands-on with cutting-edge grading technology, leading people, solving problems, and keeping everything running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be at the heart of our grading operation, including:
• Carrying out and documenting start-up checks, changeovers (including organic transitions), and cleaning to prevent cross-contamination
• Calibrating and maintaining NIR graders, cameras (including Q-EYE), weigh cells, and associated equipment
• Being the first point of contact for grader breakdowns, coordinating repairs with Engineering
• Monitoring grading line productivity and product quality, escalating issues when targets aren’t met
• Troubleshooting technical issues and supporting root cause analysis
• Performing quality control inspections and ensuring compliance with internal and customer standards
• Cleaning, inspecting, and replacing grader components (beds, blades, NIR cups, screens) with accurate record-keeping
• Ensuring correct use and maintenance of grading screens
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, labelling, health & safety
• Supporting staff performance, identifying training needs, and ensuring systems are used correctly
• Assisting with post-grading processes such as foaming and venting, working closely with the Stock Controller
• Spotting opportunities for continuous improvement and helping push our operation to the next level
