Graduate Learning Support Assistant

Wandsworth, Inner London
Full-time | Long-term | Term-time only
£25,000–£30,000

Do you have a background in psychology or a strong desire to support young people with additional learning needs in a meaningful, school-based role?

This is a hands-on, school-based opportunity where your presence, empathy and commitment will have a direct impact on students every single day.

A high-achieving post-16 setting in Wandsworth is seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join its inclusive and supportive student support team. The institution is well-known for its rigorous academic curriculum, strong outcomes, and dedication to ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

From your first day, you’ll be fully immersed in school life — working closely with experienced teachers, pastoral leaders and support staff to provide targeted academic and emotional support to students who need it most.

The role will involve:

• Delivering 1:1 and small-group support in and out of lessons
• Supporting students with SEND, additional learning needs and EHCPs
• Helping learners access a broad curriculum across A-levels and Level 3 applied courses
• Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation
• Working collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers and pastoral staff
• Building strong, consistent relationships with students who benefit from structure and encouragement

This role is ideal for graduates interested in SEN, psychology, youth work, social care, counselling or teaching. The experience gained is varied, challenging, and highly rewarding — no two days are ever the same.

Why this school?

• Recognised for strong academic results and excellent student progression
• Offers a broad and ambitious curriculum in STEM, humanities, and creative subjects
• Committed to developing graduates, with mentoring and support for those pursuing teacher training
• Inclusive, student-focused ethos with a proven record of supporting learners to achieve at the highest level

If you want a role where your skills genuinely make a difference, this is your chance.

Send your CV and cover letter to KPI Education and take your first step into a rewarding career in education.
