Summary

Peak Lane is located in Stubbington. It is a small and friendly site, 25 to 30 staff members work here in the season. Our bustling period spans from June to September, during which we specialize in the meticulous process of cutting tips from strawberry mother plants, known as Tip Taking, and delicately planting them in black trays. The utmost care is taken to ensure the freshness of these tips while we perform the planting task, and occasional sprinkles of water add to the vitality of the process. It is advisable to come prepared with waterproof attire. Our work environment maintains a focus on achieving targets and upholding high-quality standards.
As we transition into September, our primary activities shift to cleaning the plants of old leaves, sorting them, and transferring them to larger pots.

We are looking for a seasonal staff to support our teams to harvest our strawberry plants. Key duties will include tip taking, cleaning plants, sorting plants, dispatching plants plus supporting the team with any other general duties. Work is dexterous and you will be working in poly-tunnels or open fields. You must be detail-oriented, fast and reliable so you can operate with plants without loss add damages. There are targets you will be required to reach. Working with target gives you an opportunity to earn more money as all the quantity you will pick over the target will be paid in addition.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
