Summary

Job Title: Legal Business Services – Senior Manager

Role Overview
The Senior Manager role is central to delivering complex client engagements, shaping the strategic direction of KPMG’s Legal Business Services (LBS), and building our market presence. You will lead large-scale, multi-national transformations that embed legal into business processes, leveraging AI, technology, and managed services to redesign legal fulfilment.

You will also play a leadership role in developing our people, propositions, and culture, ensuring LBS continues to grow as a leading provider of legal transformation services.

What you will do

  • Lead the delivery of global, complex engagements across legal operations, technology, and managed services.
  • Shape and deliver responses to RFIs and RFPs, including preparation and presentation of proposals.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on legal target operating models, sourcing strategies, service catalogues, and technology integration.
  • Support clients in structuring their legal data strategy, governance, and reporting frameworks.
  • Drive business development, marketing, and go-to-market activity to grow the practice and strengthen KPMG’s market profile.
  • Oversee headcount, resource planning, and revenue forecasting as part of practice leadership.

Leadership & Management

  • Report directly to LBS Directors and Partners
  • Manage large engagement teams across multiple geographies and functions, ensuring consistent high-quality delivery.
  • Build and maintain senior client relationships, including at C-suite level.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

Skills & Experience

  • Significant consulting experience with a focus on legal, contracting, or business transformation.
  • Deep knowledge of legal operating models, matter management, CLM, and AI-enabled contracting.
  • Experience in managing global programmes, including vendor management and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven track record of influencing at executive level.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and capture market opportunities.
  • Desirable: project management (PMP/Prince2), Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent transformation credentials.
