Summary
Undertaking regular ward rounds. Participate in clinical audit and in continuing professional education. Supervision, teaching, training and professional development of the junior medical staff working in the service. Consultants are fully involved in developing a high standard of teaching of junior medical staff, nurses, and medical students and in designing and contributing to the process for establishment and approval of training posts for junior medical staff. Maintaining standards of care for his/her service to the Medical Director, the Chief Executive and Chairman and the Board of the Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust.
