About the Role
As a PBS Practitioner, you’ll be responsible for conducting detailed behavioral assessments, developing and implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), and collaborating closely with individuals, families, and professionals to achieve meaningful behavioral outcomes.
You will manage your own caseload and work across various settings, ensuring that every support plan is guided by the latest research and best practice in PBS.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
Deliver tailored support strategies across community and clinical environments
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote consistency and best practice
Support individuals, families, and staff during periods of crisis
Champion the integration of Positive Behaviour Support principles across services
About You
BTEC or equivalent qualification in Positive Behavior Support or related field
Minimum of two years’ experience as a PBS Practitioner
Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
Strong background in caseload management and multi-agency collaboration
Compassionate, proactive, and committed to achieving positive outcomes
Full UK driving licence
