Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between the organization and external stakeholders regarding building safety issues.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings to assess safety compliance and identify potential hazards.
Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures in accordance with current legislation.
Provide guidance and support to residents and contractors on building safety matters.
Prepare detailed reports on building inspections, safety assessments, and compliance reviews.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops on building safety for staff and stakeholders.
Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in building safety, compliance, or a related area within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to analyze complex safety data and articulate findings in a clear manner.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and address safety concerns effectively.
Certifications in building safety or related qualifications are highly desirable.
