Summary
About the Role
The Grosvenor Hotel in Plymouth is seeking a reliable and flexible Hotel All-Rounder to primarily handle housekeeping duties, with some reception tasks and breakfast service. This role is ideal for someone organised, hardworking, and able to adapt to changing demands at short notice.
Night cover will be required as part of this role.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to hotel standards
Changing bed linen and towels, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities
Keeping public areas clean and tidy
Assisting at reception, including answering phone calls and guest enquiries
Checking guests in and out when needed
Serving breakfast and setting up the breakfast area
Supporting overnight cover when required
Completing additional reasonable tasks as requested by management
Hours & Contract
Zero-hours contract
Shifts can be any time between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, plus overnight cover when required
Flexibility is essential, and candidates must be available within 1 hour’s notice
Pay
National Minimum Wage on a zero-hours contract
About You
Must be aged 18 or over
Previous cleaning experience required
Customer service experience required
Reliable, hardworking, and flexible
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Friendly and professional when dealing with guests
Desirable:

Reception experience
