Working under the guidance of the class teacher & Senior Leaders you will provide support for Key Stage Two pupils with diverse needs, delivering high quality learning, helping them access the curriculum, running personalised programmes and interventions, and providing any additional support as required.
The successful candidate should have a passion for supporting young people, helping to enhance their learning, and nurturing their social and emotional development.
We are looking for someone who:
Is able to build positive relationships with young people of all abilities
Is patient, resilient and kind
Is enthusiastic about learning
Is organised and a team player but also able to use their own initiative
Has a strong “can do” attitude
Has good written and verbal communication skills
Good skills in English and Maths (Minimum GCSE A-C in English or Mathematics or equivalent)
Experience of working with children is essential and a commitment to professional development and learning opportunities.
