At the Stockton Sixth Form College site, we are seeking to appoint a Youth Coach to work with our Compass team, supporting students in the SEMH provision.
You will be primarily working with Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4 students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH).
You will have significant experience of working with young people with SEMH needs in a setting such as alternative provision, youth work, behaviour support or SEND/Inclusion services and have experience of working with families and external agencies to provide a holistic, trauma-informed approach to meet the needs of individual learners and supporting positive outcomes.
Experience of working effectively with SEND young people alongside other staff is essential, as is the ability to maintain efficient and effective recording systems.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need a full UK driving licence and business insurance.
Normal hours of working are 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, with a 4.00 pm finish on a Friday.
This is a fixed term role to 31st August 2027 in the first instance.
