The Role:

Working as part of the Anglian Water Alliance, we collaborate with a wide range of partners to share knowledge, improve performance and deliver the best possible service. We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Enabler to join our team to support our Mainlaying Delivery Programme through out the Anglian region. You will act as a central support for the delivery team, managing project paperwork, compliance, and administration. Your specific responsibility is to reduce delays, improve resource utilisation, and maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality.

These are some of the activities you will be involved in:

  • Manage day-to-day project administration, including maintaining document management systems and uploading site information
  • Prepare project packs for construction, ensuring all required documentation is in place
  • Provide administrative support to the project team to keep work organised and on schedule
  • Coordinate PMO activities, including setting up new jobs and supporting update sessions
  • Support site operations by managing permits, ordering site consumables, and arranging plant hires
  • Assist with health and safety reporting, including compliance checks and routine data collation
  • Support site teams with project close-out documentation and quality sign-offs
  • Promote strong health and safety standards, supporting audits, reporting near misses, and driving continuous improvement

We would love to hear from you if…
if you have experience supporting multiple projects, ideally within the water or wider utility sector, and have a good understanding of project management. You should be confident using MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint, and be able to adapt to company specific software. A strong awareness of Health and Safety at Work regulations is important, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with clients, colleagues, and management. You should be proactive, flexible, and able to work independently, taking initiative where needed, with strong problem-solving abilities and close attention to detail.

You will need a full UK driving licence for this role
