About the Role
A specialist education supply agency is seeking a motivated and resilient Sports Coach to work within an alternative provision in Preston. This setting supports young people who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. Sport is used as a key tool to re-engage learners, build confidence, and support their emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured sports and physical activity sessions.
- Use sport as a tool to support emotional regulation, teamwork, and confidence.
- Build positive, professional relationships with pupils.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
- Work collaboratively with staff to support each pupil's individual needs.
Working Pattern
- Part-time: Monday and Tuesday
- Start: Beginning of March
- Progression: Potential for the role to become full-time for the right candidate.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience coaching sports with children or young people.
- A positive, patient, and resilient approach.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- A passion for supporting pupils with additional needs or challenging backgrounds.
- Relevant coaching or sports qualifications (desirable but not essential).
