About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team on a temporary to full-time basis to support a Pupil Referral Unit based in Ellesmere Port.
As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of each student. You will need to have the ability to manage challenging behaviour and experience working with SEMH.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent- A degree in Education- ability to manage extremely challenging behaviour- Strong knowledge and understanding of the curriculum- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create engaging lessons- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Enhanced DBS (On the Update Service)
- Challenging behaviour management
