Summary

Our client, a highly respected educational institution in Oldbury, West Midlands, is seeking a talented and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience of our pupils. Working closely with our teaching staff, you will provide invaluable assistance in the classroom, helping to create a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters academic excellence and personal development.

Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing targeted support to individual students or small groups, tailoring your approach to meet their unique learning needs and abilities.
- Assisting the lead teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons, contributing your ideas and expertise to enhance the overall quality of the curriculum.
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed records of their performance, collaborating with teachers to identify areas for improvement and develop effective intervention strategies.
- Offering pastoral care and emotional support to students, helping them navigate the challenges of their educational journey and promoting their well-being.
- Collaborating with other members of the teaching team, sharing best practices and participating in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students at all times.

To thrive in this role, you will need to possess a strong academic background, a genuine passion for education, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young people. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field, such as a BTEC National Diploma or an NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a similar educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A deep understanding of child development, learning styles, and effective teaching strategies.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital tools to support the learning process.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, able to respond to the ever-changing needs of our students.
- A strong commitment to promoting the values and ethos of our institution.
