Summary
Our client, a renowned educational institution in West Drayton, Greater London, is seeking a talented and experienced Full-time SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher to join their dedicated team. To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. ) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), with a specialism in special education
- Substantial experience working as a SEN Teacher in a primary or secondary school setting
- Proven track record of effectively supporting students with a wide range of learning difficulties, including (but not limited to) autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, and physical disabilities
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in special education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Creativity, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs
