Winstanley College is seeking a Media and Film Technician to support our thriving Faculty of Creative and Performing Arts.Salary: £23,618 Point 8 (£26,343 per annum, pro rata)Contract: Term time plus 10 daysHours: 8.30am – 4.30pm (M-F 5 days)Winstanley College is seeking a Media and Film Technician to support our thriving Faculty of Creative and Performing Arts.The role involves providing high-quality technical support across Media, Film Studies and T Level Media and Broadcasting, working in industry-standard facilities including TV studios, editing suites, podcasting studios and performance spaces.Key responsibilitiessupporting staff and students with media and film equipment and softwaremanaging the safe storage, maintenance and issuing of equipmentproviding in-class technical support and troubleshootingsupporting Winstanley TV, podcasting and film projectsfilming and editing content for curriculum, enrichment and assessmentssupporting health and safety requirements, including risk assessmentsAbout youYou will be organised, technically confident, and able to work calmly to deadlines. Experience in a similar role and/or within an education setting is desirable.
