This is a great opportunity to join an industry leading company in Bristol. You will join in a senior position and manage design projects from concepts to completion using SolidWorks.
The company have a global presence and customers across multiple sectors so the type of projects you will work on is varied, in terms of complexity and value!
The Role:
- Manage a range of design projects from concept to completeion, using Solidworks.
- Produce parts lists, assembly drawings and detail drawings.
- Be aware of cost targets in design, purchasing, and assembly.
- Carry out risk assessments on machinery and assemblies of machinery.
What we are looking for:
- Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience within Mechanical design.
- Strong user of Solidworks - with sheet metal design experience being an advantage
- Read and produce 2d production drawings.
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis.
