Summary

Pinnacle Group are looking for a proactive and hands‑on Grounds Maintenance and Cleaning Team Leader to join our Soft FM teams who cover numerous different housing sites including general needs estates, sheltered accommodation blocks and extra care facilities.

Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

Working from our Slough office, you’ll lead a team delivering high‑quality grounds maintenance, gardening and cleaning services across a diverse portfolio of sites throughout Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and London. In this role, you will be responsible for organising daily tasks, supervising site standards, ensuring works are completed safely and also completing ad-hoc grounds maintenance and cleaning duties yourself

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular site checks and undertaking cleaning and grounds maintenance inspections.
  • Quoting jobs and arranging additional works.
  • Reporting required repairs and maintenance in communal area.
  • Advising manager of equipment and materials that need to be ordered.
  • Ensuring all machinery is a safe working.
  • Covering grounds maintenance duties - mowing, weeding, strimming and litter picking.
  • Covering cleaning duties - mopping, dusting and sweeping hard surfaces.

Key requirements:

  • Knowledge of the use of chemicals (COSHH).
  • Experienced of grounds maintenance services and equipment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 12 months is essential.
  • Proven experience in a team leading/supervisory position.
  • Professional cleaning experience.
