This is a permanent role to start as soon as possible!
We are recruiting for a well established, home from home nursery in Croydon. You must have a genuine passion working with early years children and understand the importance of your role. You will join a hard working team who are fully supported by management. This is reflected in an open door policy approach, upskilling staff and employee benefits.
The Essentials (Requirements) * Qualification: You must hold a "Full and Relevant" Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or BTEC).
Core Skills: A solid understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and how to implement it creatively.
Safeguarding: A clear commitment to keeping children safe. All successful candidates will undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
Communication: Strong spoken and written English to manage observations and parent handovers professionally.
A Key Person: Take ownership of a small group, tracking their development and building strong, professional bonds with their families.
Resilience & Empathy: Help young learners navigate big emotions and social boundaries, teaching them how to share and build confidence.
Setting the Standard: Take pride in your room, ensuring it’s an inspiring environment that you’d be happy to leave ready for the next day's adventures.
