We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Specialist Biomedical Scientist to work in our friendly, well equipped Cellular Pathology department, which processes approximately 35,000 samples per year, providing essential services to the Trust and the wider health care community.
You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and your work will ensure that the department continues to deliver a high quality, timely and effective service, where patient experience and safety is central.

The post holders will work routinely as part of the team based at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital with a commitment at the Basingstoke site as part of the BMS rotational team to lead the team and perform frozen section and OSNA techniques, once training where required is in place.
We encourage continuing professional development with further technical and academic based opportunities available to staff.
